Finally, the baby is here. The arrival of the cute little bundle of joy has been anxiously anticipated by everyone. Welcoming the family home is excitedly anticipated by family, friends, and neighbors alike. Babies are truly a blessing. What should I get the baby – that is the next question? Is it best to play it safe with the cute stuffed animals and cute outfits or be unique and get personalized baby gifts? The options to choose from are endless. Believe me, I know this all too well. I was so excited a few days ago when I got the call that my friend had her baby girl, Laura Ann. Seeing all of the choices overwhelmed me, so I had to grab by inhaler. You only have one opportunity to buy gifts for the new baby. Using my charge card as if it were Christmas, I pulled it out. Purchasing an engraved picture frame, a cute little personalized piggy bank, and a keepsake personalized quilt was where I began. These gifts I bought not only showed how much I care, but gave me some great gift ideas for the future. It gave me some awesome ideas for personalized gifts for birthdays and for Christmas. Some other unique gifts that I wanted to remember for the future were a personalized toy box and a hand-painted rocking chair.

A personalized baby gift shows that you don’t mind taking that extra step – or two – or three! It shows that you really do care about the birth of the new baby and about the family also. Buying newborn baby gifts is a once-in-a-lifetime experience in that child’s life, so it should be a fun and exciting experience.
